Types of Dubai Visa for Indians

A Dubai visa is a mandatory document for Indian nationals who wish to
legally enter and stay in Dubai. If you are an Indian national, you must
obtain it before moving to Dubai. As far as Dubai visa for Indians is
concerned, they are of many types. Getting an insight into all these kinds of
visas will enable you to apply for a visa according to your needs.

Different types of Dubai visas for Indians
There are different types of visas for Indian passport holders. These visas
are meant for different purposes. Given the variations in visas for Indian
nationals for various purposes, you must know about each of them. This
will help you obtain the type of visa to address your needs.

The different types of Dubai visas for Indians include the ones given below.

1. 48-Hours Dubai Visa
This Dubai visa for Indian nationals is valid for 48 hours. It allows a
recipient to legally enter and stay in Dubai or the UAE for the same
duration. It is a single-entry visa that comes with a fixed date on which a
recipient is allowed to enter Dubai and leave the city. Both these dates are
mentioned in the document. Generally, business travellers who have a plan
to stop over in Dubai or the UAE apply for this kind of visa.

2. 96-Hours Dubai Visa
As the name suggests, this is a Dubai visa for Indian citizens with a validity
of 96 hours. It is a single-entry visit, meaning that you can use it only once
to enter Dubai. As is the case with most Dubai visa documents for Indian
nationals, this one also lists the date of entry and exit for the recipient.
It is a useful visa document for those Indian nationals who wish to stay in
Dubai for 3 or 4 days or lesser duration. Usually, the candidates who apply
for this type of visa have a specific purpose that corresponds to a shorter
stay in Dubai. These include attending certain scheduled business
meetings, making point-to-point travel, or stopping for a shorter duration
before moving to an onward destination.

3. Short-Term Single-Entry Visa
Essentially a single-entry visa, a Short-Term Single-Entry Visa for Indian
nationals remains valid for 30 days. Both the date of entry to Dubai and exit
from it for an applicant are mentioned clearly on the visa to avoid any
confusion. Once issued, you can use this visa to enter Dubai within 58 days.
From the date of issue, you can also extend this visa two times for 30 days

each by paying a fee of AED 850. You need to pay this fee each time you
wish to extend the visa.

4. 90-Days Dubai Visa
In line with its name, this visa is for 90 days. That is to say; a 90-Days Dubai
Visa remains intact for 90 days. Primarily known to be a single-entry visa, it
consists of both the entry and expiry dates on the document. The applicants
for this visa are those who wish to stay in Dubai for a longer duration.
Generally, such applicants apply for this visa for business purposes, to
attend an event, or to stay with family and friends.

The validity for the entry of this visa remains intact for 58 days from the
day on which it is issued. As long as your visa remains valid, you can extend
it for 30 days twice after the completion of 90 days of your stay on the visa.
You can do so by an extension fee of AED 850.

5. Multiple Entry Short-Term Visa
Do you need to travel to Dubai multiple times for a reason? If yes, the
multiple entry short-term visa to Dubai would be ideal for serving your
needs in this regard. Once issued, this visa remains valid for 58 days from
the date on which it is issued. The best part about the multiple entry short-
term visa is that you can extend it twice in 30 days. Each time you wish to
extend this visa after 30 days, you can do so by paying a fee of AED 850.
