Dubai Visa Guide – Eligibility Criteria

To be able to get a UAE visa, you have to adhere to a systematic program procedure.

Every nation has given eligibility standards to avail their country’s visa. UAE also has eligibility standards to be fulfilled before it issues a permit for any traveler.

Let’s look at the eligibility criteria to get a Dubai Visa in detail.

Applicants who have a valid passport for countries like the USA, UK, Schengen states, Russia, Canada, Switzerland, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan or possess proof of traveling to UAE in the last five years are eligible to get the Dubai visa.

Documents Needed
Visa application form signed and applicants colored photographs.

Original Passport, which is valid for at least six months from the travel date, plus the colored photocopy of Passport.

Invitation letter, if any, by the sponsor company in the UAE.

Female candidates and students over 18 years of age and traveling alone will need NOC from husbands/ parents, respectively, plus the photo ID of husband/parents. A colored copy of the sponsor’s Passport or residence visa is also required when applying for the Dubai visa.

Visa Payment receipt.

Visa Payment methods – cash, DD, or credit card.

Criteria II – Financial Records to visit Dubai

Applicants who don’t qualify according to standards I – Traveling Record must submit the previous two years’ Form16 or two years’ Income Tax Return with minimum gross income by a profession, business, or any other occupation. Moreover, this income should be higher than Rs.two lakh each year.

Otherwise, the applicant should invest Rs.5 lakhs or above as a fixed deposit in the banks or post office.

Documents required for Second Criteria

Income Tax returns, salary slips of the previous six months, pan card or fixed deposit receipt

Visa application form signed and filled alongside applicants colored photograph.

Original Passport valid for six months from the date of travel

Arrival and Departing original and affirmed tickets of Emirates or FlyDubai.

Invitation letter, if any, by the sponsor company in the UAE.

Female candidates and students over 18 years of age and traveling alone will need NOC from husbands/ parents, respectively, plus the photo ID of husband/parents. A colored copy of the sponsor’s Passport or residence visa is also required when applying for the Dubai visa.

Visa Payment receipt.

Visa Payment methods accepted are cash, DD, or credit card.

Criteria III – Invitation from immediate family members residing in UAE

As the name suggests in this criteria, you can visit Dubai if you have your family residing in UAE and sponsoring your Dubai visa. Spouses, children below 21 years of age, and parents over 60 years old are allowed to visit the UAE in this criteria.

Documents required in this case are as follows.

Invitation letter from family, the original Passport of the applicant, and residence visa color photocopy of the sponsor residing in UAE must get UAE visa.

Visa application form signed and filled alongside applicants colored photograph.

Original Passport is valid for at least six months from the date of traveling plus the colored photocopy of Passport.

Arrival and Departing original affirmed ticket of Emirates or FlyDubai.

Invitation letter, if any, by the sponsor company in the UAE.

Female candidates and students over 18 years of age and traveling alone will need NOC from husbands/ parents, respectively, plus the photo ID of husband/parents. A colored copy of the sponsor’s Passport or residence visa is also required when applying for the Dubai visa.

Newly Married Couple

1. In the case of Newly married couples, we have two points. Suppose the spouse isn’t endorsed on the Passport. In that case, you have to submit: A marriage Certificate/Notarized Affidavit on Rs.100 stamp paper.

1. Suppose you’re recently married and traveling instantly after the marriage with your spouse. In that case, you may need to submit a No Objection Certificate from parents using picture identification verification, a wedding card, along a wedding photograph of the couple.

Five Types of Dubai Visa

Tourist Visa: The tourist visa is for visitors who want to visit any United Arab Emirates country as a tourist. In a tourist visa, the tourists can travel to multiple destinations.

Visit Visa: As the name suggests, a Visit visa is for the people that are visiting someone in UAE like a friend or relatives. Visit visa generally requires sponsorship from someone residing in UAE.

Transit Visa: In the case of the Transit visa, if the applicant has connecting flights to another country and has a waiting period of more than 8 hours, then this visa is required.

Employment Visa: As the name suggests, an Employment Visa is for the job or employment seekers in Dubai. Employment Visa also requires sponsorship from a company or someone else that is hiring you.

Residence Visa: The last category of visa is a residence visa. If you get a resident visa, you also get an Emirates ID, making you a valid UAE resident. The Emirates ID also helps you bring your family members to the country as a sponsor.
